What type of redundancy and backup is available on the Hosted Orator systems?
Hosted Orator servers are configured with with two hard drives and nightly backups of configuration data. In case of complete hard drive failure of the primary drive, the original drive would be replaced and the configuration files restored.
Are data files backed up?
Data files are generally exported from the Hosted Orator to an FTP server. Copies of all data files are located on the FTP server.
What type of support is available for Hosted Orator servers?
The staff at the data center monitors the servers 24/7. Customers contact Bytescribe concerning any issues and we notify the data center if the issue is hardware related. We have an "after hours" support number listed on our web site.
Is there email and phone support?
Yes, customers can open a support ticket online or they can call the support numbers listed on our web site.
Is Hosted Orator compliant with HIPAA?
Yes. Access to the servers is through Windows Remote Desktop that has standard Windows authentication and security.
