Orator VoIP
The Orator VoIP is dictation software that uses Voice over IP technology to record dictation. Callers can continue to use standard analog telephones or they can use VoIP telephones. The software can be installed on a standard Windows XP computer with a broadband Internet connection. The Orator VoIP solution requires no hardware or telephone lines. Voice over IP can be far less expensive than standard telephone lines.
Orator VoIP software can be installed on a Windows XP/2003/Vista/7/2008 computer with 512 MB RAM. Calls can be made from standard analog telephones using a VoIP provider such as Vonage or Broadvoice. Free or low cost calls may be made from VoIP telephones. Each telephone call requires about 64kb/s of Internet bandwidth so a broadband connection is required.
