Bytescribe Return Policy and Procedure 

Bytescribe offers a 30-day return policy on its Serial and USB WavPlayers, dictation systems, dictation software kits and handheld recorders. If a product is returned within 30 days of purchase in its original condition, the purchase price of the merchandise will be refunded excluding any shipping charges and restocking fee. A restocking fee of 10% with a minimum of $10 will apply. Handheld recorders have a 90 day guarantee. 

Bytescribe will not offer refunds on "software only" products once they are registered on a computer. This includes WavPlayer Express, SwiftText Word Expander, WavPlayer software (that is compatible with a foot pedal), PocketRecorder and DocShuttle products.

Bytescribe must be contacted via email to receive an RMA number and instructions for return. A request for a RMA should be emailed to returns@bytescribe.com and should include order number, product, name of purchaser, date of purchase and a brief description of reason for return. Bytescribe will reply with return instructions.

RMA numbers will expire after 10 days. Any returns without a RMA number will be refused. Please return the merchandise in its original packaging with the RMA number plainly visible on top of the package. The return shipment should contain all original items.

After we receive the returned merchandise and verify that it has been returned in its original condition, Bytescribe will refund the cost of the merchandise excluding any shipping charges. Please package the items very securely before shipping and keep tracking numbers for the return shipment. You may ship using any courier convenient for you, such as FedEx, UPS, US Postal Service, Airborne, etc.
