WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 6?

Hot keys to control the play, pause, rewind, open file and next file functions. WavPlayer functions can be controlled in any Windows application using hot keys. Hot keys enable control of sound files without the use of a foot pedal.

File preview capability for .wav files. A Play/Stop button can be used to listen to a selected file before opening it in WavPlayer. Preview window displays the format and size of .wav files.

	Improved USB foot pedal controls.
	Setting to save speed control and backspace settings on exit
	Improvements made to history list function. Option added to clear history list.
	Menu option added to "Check for Updates" online for automatic software upgrades.
	Improved help file. Context help for settings window.
	Minor internal fixes.

	Support for more file formats. WavPlayer now plays more formats including audio CDs (.cda files). Click here for a list of supported file formats.
	Drop down list of recently selected sound files.

	Drag & Drop support for multiple files. Simply drag and drop multiple files from Windows Explorer into WavPlayer and all files are added to the drop down list.
	History list of recently played sound files.
	Continuous rewind and fast forward. The longer the pedal is held down, the further the position is moved.
	Improved tuning of speed, backspace and volume controls. Controls display position when adjusting.
	Improved video support for .asf and other video formats.
	Popup menu appears when right-clicking in WavPlayer window.
	Internet Streaming - Play files directly from the Internet without downloading first. Use TCP/IP to play files from addresses like http://www.bytescribe.com/abc.wav or ftp://mysite.com/sample.wav
	Support for UNC paths on a Local Area Network - Play files across a network using paths like \\myserver\c\downloads\abc.wav
