WebShuttle Online Recorder

There is a simple online recorder in WebShuttle that can be used for recording dictation. Select "Dictation | Online Recorder" from the WebShuttle menu. The the online recorder has standard recording functions such as record, play, pause, rewind and fast forward. The recorder also has the capability to insert an overwrite audio.

Chrome is the recommended browser for the Online Recorder. The Recorder will work in most browsers and on most devices such as desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Below is a video how to create a Home screen shortcut to the Online Recorder for an Android device.

Foot Pedal Control

The Online Recorder and can controlled by a foot pedal. Dictators such as pathologists can take advantage of hands-free dictation by using a foot pedal to control the Record, Rewind, Pause and Playback functions. An Infinity foot pedal is required and Foot Pedal Controller software is also needed. A link to download the Foot Pedal Controller is below:

In order for the foot pedal to work properly with the Online Recorder, the Foot Pedal Controller software needs to run in the background or be minimized while the Online Recorder window is in the forefront as shown in the image below.
